Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Catering By Marjorie! We invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns if, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. Your satisfaction is our priority.

We inspect our products prior to shipping to make sure we are sending a properly made baked good. We do understand we may miss something though, and if our baking is faulty, we will honor a return for an exchange or refund.

Whatever the reason, please reach out to us within 24 hours of receiving your order if you are unsatisfied. We will come up with a solution!

In the case of returning a faulty baked good, the shipping costs to return the item will be covered by Catering By Marjorie. Original shipping costs will not be refunded.

Do not return any items before contacting us via email at CateringByMarjorie@gmail.com! Please include:

  • your order number
  • the date your order arrived
  • an explanation of the problem
  • a picture of faulty goods
  • specify your preference for refund, store credit or replacement items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

We do not accept responsibility for damage to goods during the shipping process, and will take great care to pack your items securely enough for average shipping conditions. If there is damage from shipping, please keep the shipping box for inspection by the courier so we are able to make a claim for damaged goods.

We will not accept responsibility for product spoilage due to shipping delays, or if the customer is not available to receive the order at the appropriate day and time.

If an order is returned to us because you entered an incorrect address, your payment will not be refunded. Depending on the shelf life of your items, we may be able to re-ship your order at your own expense.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. We will provide the return address via email correspondence.

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We cannot issue a refund without receiving the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel your order within 24 hours without giving any reason.

The deadline for cancelling an order is 24 hours from the date and time you placed your order.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision with a clearly written statement. You can inform us by emailing us at CateringByMarjorie@gmail.com.

We will reimburse you no later than 14 days from the day we receive your written statement. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
